You can Save Money Everyday

Here is a way to save money in the month of January

Check with gyms this time of the year as often it is a slow period for them in January.
It is possible especially with the economy currently to find a sale anyway but still January is a good time to get reduced memberships fees or some extra benefits in the same price range.

But you have to ask first or I’m sure they will happily take you at full price too.
Save money at a gym today. Believe it because you can find many ways to save that you might not think of that will help you to pinch a penny.

What is money meant to the Chinese?
Wherever, i saw the Chinese, they are always thinking of business, i have this chinese classmate in my school, he is soo conscious especially with the money that he have, and not only with the money but also with the way how he eat, same meal everyday, and i know he is saving a lot of money, especially in valentine, i cant believe he spend the mascots, the explosions with paper (i dont know how you called that), and even music just for his "proposed girlfriend". And i have this another classmate, once i told him that i am collecting money around the world (banknote literally), then you know what he told me, "everyone is collecting money". What does money mean to them? It means something to them..

Well, as a chinese inborn, maybe i could help a little. China has many many many populations since forever. During the communism and the era of kingdoms..as you can see on movies, the rich are very rich, the poor are horrible. Then there was this one time when parents can only have 1 child. Those with more than one often shipped their children to other countries. Many families are scattered. Mainly, when they got out of china, they have nothing but clothes. And how to survive in a foreign land when you do not speak the language and know nothing?Work and get the money to survive, as much as they can. The chinese outside china are mainly survivors (most of them)…their struggles to survive is being taught to their children and generations. Firecrackers and maybe you mean "Lion dance"..is a part of our cultures and traditions. Just like some spend money buying cotumes for halloween or buy trees, ornaments, presents during christmas. This is only a brief explaination though. Cheers.

There is an old and popular chinese saying about money " Having money ( a lot ) enables the ghose to do any favors you want". It means the same as " Money talks" in western saying. But that guy you mentioned seem to be too superficial for me, as a Chinese. He might be born after 1980 that most chinese family could have only child and tends to be spoiled and materilism. Compared with 16 yrs ago, a lot of ellite graduate students from China I met while studying in the US, their talkings were always in their studying and cultures and sometimes about each one's hobbies. Don't tell me you are studying in the US…
